I'm posting about Mandalorians? Blasphemy!
Anyhoo, I picked up Knights of the Old Republic #8 today, which has Mandalorians a-plenty. Best of all, the comic seems to imply that there was an actual reason for the Mandalorian Wars back around 4000 BBY. Of course, they still tortured a bunch of Jedi in the comic, so I doubt that my opinion of them will change.
Now, the best part was definitely when just about everyone in the story (except the Mandalorians) repeatedly referred to the Mandalorians as "Mandies." As in:
"This is my ship, Mandie!"
"Just spotted a Mandie leaving the planet, sir!"
"Take fire from the Mandies if you have to -- "
etc.
Oh, and there's another instance when a Mandalorian is addressed as "buckethead."
Now, it is just me that finds this absolutely hi-larious? I mean, this is better than calling Cylons "toasters" and droids "clankers" or "tinnies!"
Oh Mandie...

Mandies! Hahaha!
Now that's an interesting nickname.
BUCKETHEAD!? HAHAHA!
Well, I guess... Back here, we call our lovebird a "bucket-beak".
BTW, does anyone around here know about the Mando internal factions? Death Watch? True Mandalorians? Journeyman Protectors? I know only a few of the distinctions, but am not completely sure.

- Speak Mando'a -
Wow. I've gotta get off my lazy arse and learn Mando'a... I think I'm missing out on a big thing.
